It is hard to believe that just four weeks ago we were working through what are now considered typical business challenges. Top of mind for me and our teams three weeks ago were topics like where are we in terms of customer go lives, progress with our roadmap plans, customer happiness, bookings growth for our 3rd quarter; and we were planning customer visits in North America and an EMEA roadshow.

Fast forward three weeks and top of mind are topics like how do we keep our employees and their families safe, how do we manage our business to still achieve all of the above but in very different circumstances and fundamentally how do we ensure we are there to support our customers, more than ever at this time when the control of cash and working capital has never been more important.

This week we moved to a mandatory working from home policy for those based in our WeWork offices and an optional working from home policy at our Headquarters in Bromsgrove, UK.  We also held an all hands meeting yesterday to discuss in detail how at this crucial time we need to ensure both the health and safety of our team as well as support the health and continuity of our customers. Phrases like “social distancing” and “shelter in place” are now part of the daily dialogue.

At Rimilia, with our ability to move to our rehearsed remote working policy and sick leave where needed, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our customers to support you through this time. Fortunately, our software gives you the ability to access our solutions from anywhere in the World and therefore if remote working is necessary you are still able to ensure the cash your businesses needs is efficiently collected and allocated in real time. You should not lose productivity if you have to adjust your working environment in order to remain healthy and safe, and we continue to support and communicate with our customers that we are here and are available to help in whatever way we can.

I have been pleased to see the change of tone over the weekend as the world has come to terms with what we are facing and coupled with the measures Governments have communicated over the past few days, there is rightly a focus on ensuring the health of businesses and the global economy alongside personal health and well being as the two are intrinsically linked.

Whatever challenges lie ahead we are undoubtedly stronger together, and at Rimilia we are open for business and open minded to help in anyway we can!
