Aggregate Industries use Alloc8 Robotic Process Automation to increase efficiency in cash allocation
Aggregate Industries continue to work on fully automating their shared service operations using Rimilia’s award winning accounts receivable solution Alloc8 and bank reconciliation software Reconcili8.
Since going live with the cash allocation software in October 2011, Aggregate Industries have improved the efficiency of their cash matching processes by doubling their automatch rates to 88% while absorbing additional divisions, volume and cash value in their shared service centre in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Seeking to build upon efficiency gains and the reduction of unallocated cash since Alloc8’s introduction for the UK operation, Aggregate Industries have since brought Polish cash processing in house to Coalville, while the Channel Islands business handle cheque receipts for head office allocation; increasing efficiency in the field.
Rimilia Project Manager Phil Coombs commented;
“Working with the team at Aggregate Industries has been a pleasure since day 1 and it’s fantastic to see the team continue to thrive whilst integrating more and more processes in the Coalville operation. I look forward to seeing which territories and processes are next”
Phil Rice, Order to Cash Manager for Aggregate Industries Europe said;
"Rimilia’s Alloc8 is a superb product, its introduction was a massive step change in our processing ability at Coalville with quick gains seen in speed and accuracy of allocation and a huge reduction in our unallocated cash at month end. This is a product that does exactly what it says it does. The Rimilia team really understand that side of the business. Alloc8 is the best in its class, head and shoulders above any other".
